Rapoport Weisberg Sims & VanOverloop, P.C. was retained on behalf of the family of a young woman killed in a mid-air collision involving a Part 135 Tour Operator flying a de Havilland DHC-2 Beaver and another Part 135 Tour Operator flying a de Havilland DHC-3 Turbine Otter. The mid-air collision resulted in the DHC-2 Beaver breaking up in mid-air and the DHC-3 Turbine Otter crashing into George Inlet. All 5 crew and passengers aboard the DHC-2 Beaver were killed, and one passenger aboard the DHC-3 Turbine Otter died, and 10 others were injured.
