Rapoport Weisberg & Sims P.C. filed a lawsuit today in the Northern District of Illinois, Eastern Division, for the serious and permanent injuries sustained by a 29-year-old female who was injured by the negligent conduct of a delivery company and its truck driver. The lawsuit alleges that the delivery truck company and its truck driver had a responsibility to safely unload its delivery truck and safely operate a mechanical lift used in the unloading process. According to the lawsuit, the delivery truck driver negligently dropped a heavy pallet of products on the plaintiff’s lower left leg causing her to sustain serious injuries. The plaintiff has been diagnosed with complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS) which is a chronic pain condition caused by damage to the peripheral and central nervous systems.
