Yesterday, the Chicago Bar Association’s Aviation Law Committee kicked off a new season with a continuing legal education program entitled The Latest on Federal Preemption of Aviation Cases from Both Sides of the Table. The presenters were the Chair of the Committee, David E. Rapoport, a prominent plaintiffs’ aviation attorney, and the Vice-Chair of the Committee, Steven L. Boldt, who is a prominent aviation defense attorney. The program was attended by some of Chicago’s top aviation lawyers from both sides of the table. At the meeting Mr. Rapoport also shared an exciting list of upcoming programs with members of the Committee, noting most of the programming slots for the Aviation Law Committee are already filled for the next year.
