David Rapoport, founding partner of Rapoport Weisberg & Sims P.C. and Martin Whittaker, Senior Counsel, American Bar Association Center for Professional Responsibility, presented a continuing legal education program at the Chicago Bar Association’s Trial Practice Committee Meeting entitled “Board Certification for Trial Lawyers.”
Mr. Whittaker is the attorney responsible for supporting the ABA Standing Committee on Specialization and Mr. Rapoport is the immediate past President of the National Board of Trial Advocacy (NBTA), and has been one of the central advocates in promoting board certification for trial lawyers in the United States.
The National Board of Trial Advocacy was founded in 1977 to provide board certification for attorneys. The NBTA is dedicated to bettering the quality of trial advocacy in our nation’s courtrooms and helping consumers find experienced and highly qualified trial lawyers.
