April 1, 2016, Urbana, Illinois – Rapoport Weisberg & Sims P.C. filed a lawsuit today in the Circuit Court of Champaign County, Illinois, for the wrongful death of a 33 year old mother of two who died during a hospital admission. The lawsuit alleges that due to the negligence of the hospital and physicians managing the patient’s care, she was not timely diagnosed and treated for early symptoms of a stroke, and as a result the stroke continued to evolve over the course of hours while she and her husband were at the hospital, until her stroke became catastrophic, and ultimately resulted in her death.
