Rapoport Law Offices, P.C., Files Medical Malpractice Lawsuit for the Wrongful Death of a 48-Year-Old Woman

Rapoport Weisberg & Sims P.C. filed a lawsuit today in the Circuit Court of Lake County, Illinois, for the wrongful death of a 48-year-old mother of teenage girls who died of a pulmonary embolism after developing blood clots during a hospital admission. Although the woman’s doctor suspected she had blood clots in the days before her death, no action was taken to diagnose and treat her blood clots. As a result, the mother’s blood clots traveled into her lungs resulting in her death.
