Last weekend attorney David Rapoport attended the National Board of Trial Advocacy (NBTA) Mid-Winter Board Meeting in Houston, Texas. Mr. Rapoport is in his second year serving as President of the NBTA. The NBTA was the first American Bar Association (ABA) accredited attorney board certification program. NBTA’s Board of Directors, which Mr. Rapoport chairs, is made up of nationally known trial lawyers, law professors and judges dedicated to bettering the quality of trial advocacy in our nation’s courtrooms and helping consumers find experienced and highly qualified trial lawyers.
This weekend marked the inaugural meeting of the Houston Area Chapter of the NBTA, as well as the organization’s first continuing legal education (CLE) program entitled “New Business: Learn New Causes of Action.” The CLE program featured an all-star faculty and was well received by the more than 50 attorneys attending.
