Rapoport Law Offices, P.C., Files Medical Malpractice Lawsuit for Delayed Diagnosis of Breast Cancer

Rapoport Weisberg & Sims P.C. filed a medical malpractice case today in the Circuit Court of Dane County, Wisconsin, on behalf of a 32-year-old woman for the delayed diagnosis of her breast cancer. The lawsuit alleges the woman’s doctor improperly assessed a mass on the woman’s breast and said it was not suspicious rather than referring the woman to a specialist or ordering appropriate testing. As a result, the woman was not diagnosed with breast cancer until the cancer had progressed to a very late stage, resulting in the need for extensive treatment and a worse prognosis.
