Rapoport Law Offices, P.C., Files Medical Malpractice Case Based on Negligence by Radiologist Resulting in Patient’s Death

Rapoport Weisberg & Sims P.C. filed a wrongful death medical malpractice lawsuit today in the Circuit Court of Kane County, Illinois, on behalf of the estate of a 64-year-old woman. The lawsuit alleges a hospital radiologist misread and misdiagnosed radiological images showing a perforated bowel, delaying medical care that was necessary to prevent the patient’s death. The hospital, radiologist and radiologist’s practice group are named as defendants in the action.
