Rapoport Law Offices, P.C., Brings Lawsuit Against CTA

Rapoport Weisberg & Sims P.C. has filed a personal injury lawsuit in the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois, on behalf of a 58-year-old woman who was injured when she slipped and fell on liquid on the floor of a Chicago Transit Authority bus. The fall left our client with serious personal injuries. Under Illinois law, a common carrier such as CTA which invites the public onto its bus for transportation is required to exercise the highest degree of care for their safety. The lawsuit alleges this duty was violated and as a result the firm’s client was injured.
