Case Filed for Woman Injured on International Flight

Today Rapoport Weisberg & Sims P.C. filed a personal injury lawsuit in the United States District for the Southern District of New York on behalf of a 25-year-old woman who was injured while aboard a commercial flight from Athens, Greece, to New York. The injury occurred when the plaintiff was struck by a food cart causing severe bodily injures to her ankle which have led to the development of Complex Regional Pain Syndrome. Because the injury occurred during an international flight the case is governed by the Montreal Convention.
