Rapoport Law Offices, P.C., Files Medical Malpractice Case for Negligence in Failing to Diagnose and Treat a Stroke

Rapoport Weisberg & Sims P.C. filed a medical malpractice lawsuit against a doctor and medical group today in the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois, on behalf of a 21-year-old woman for injuries sustained as a result of the failure to diagnose and treat a stroke. The lawsuit alleges the defendants took an incomplete medical history, performed an incomplete physical examination that did not include vision or neurological testing, and failed to diagnose and treat the stroke. The woman developed permanent brain damage and functional impairment to the right side of her body as a result.
