Rapoport Weisberg & Sims P.C. filed a medical malpractice lawsuit against a hospital today in the Circuit Court of Macon County, Illinois on behalf of a 47-year-old woman for injuries sustained as a result of heparin injections negligently administered into her upper arms causing a brachial plexus injury. The lawsuit alleges the hospital’s nurses improperly performed the injections, the hospital improperly trained and supervised the nurses, and the hospital chose not to develop and implement proper policies and procedures for the injections. As a result, our client now experiences severe pain, tingling, paresthesias, weakness and numbness in her arms.
