Rapoport Law Offices, P.C., files wrongful death lawsuit on behalf of man killed in trucking accident

A young man was killed by a commercial motor vehicle as he was providing assistance to a disabled tractor-trailer stranded on the side of a highway. Rapoport Weisberg & Sims P.C. and Baum, Hedlund, Aristei & Goldman filed a wrongful death case today in the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois, against several defendants involved in the operation of that tractor-trailer. The lawsuit alleges the man died because the defendants failed to manage the fuel supply of the tractor-trailer, failed to place warning devices around the tractor-trailer, and failed to warn about the dangers presented by the tractor-trailer.
